The NUT
don’t fall
far
from the tree.

I Love My Mother!

Now that I realize
that she is crazy
as an Attic Bat,
all I can do
is sit back
and
giggle.

Georrrrrrgggia Thomas Pickens Henry Fronk Brown Henry-Pearson
is the only TV SHOW
that I’ve watched,
all my life,
without falling asleep.

THOSE are her last names
from ALL of her marriages.

You gotta love THAT!

She’s my own personal
Elizabeth Taylor.

My family has had
more divorces
than I’ve had cars.

Last count on the cars
was,
like,
149?

We KNOW how
to do a Divorce
up right.

I should actually write
a book called:
LIFE SAVING TIPS
ON GETTING THROUGH
THIS LIFE IN STYLE!

It could include
Divorce,
Job Changes,
Love Changes,
Death,
whatever.

GRIEVE EARLY
and GRIEVE OFTEN
is a good place to start.

I learned from watching,
that you get your
ducks in a row,
EARLY,
when you get a hankering
that things are changing.

When that SWITCH
begins to switch,
like a old transmission
thats beginning to slip,
you think about
three things:
JOB,
CAR,
and HOUSING.

WE know inside
that things can’t stay
the way they are,
so our basic needs
come flying to the forefront.

Where will I work after the change?
What will I drive?
Where will I live?

Not only,
Where will I live,
but what fun new decor scheme
can I create
to go along
with the
FRESH NEW ME!

ja jajajajjaja

This was illuminated to me
when I intentionally
made a recent change
in my employment.

When I saw
that it was
TIME for me to leave,
I went straight
to the car dealership
and bought me a new car
that would better fit
my new and improved lifestyle!

jaja jaj ja ajja

I had a bench seat truck
that could only carry two
and I knew that I needed
to be able to carry
lots of people along with me.

Craigslist got filled
with things I no longer need.

I started buying shit on Craigslist
that I now need
for my new lifestyle!

VELVET Martin Luther King: Check!
Five Foot Tall Rose Pedal Filled CROSS: Check!
Different Chairs for my LAST SUPPER TABLE: Check!

CHURCH Items to encourage FELLOWSHIP: Check!
Anything that lifted my SPIRITS: Check!
AND anything for
MAYBE even SALVATION! Check!

I grieved the coming change
MONTHS
before the actual change.

What I learned from
MAMA
was that after you grieve
the loss of what
you deep down know
needs to change,
that you make a game
out of the rebuilding
of your new life.

You DECIDE
that from this point forward
my new life
is going to be
FUN!!!

Mother said yesterday,
when I was sharing
the positive changes happening
in my life:
“Grrrrannnnt, It never stops does it”.

She knows,
because she had just spent
the last twenty minutes,
ECSTATICALLY
telling me about
the new countertops
that she already installed
in preparation
for her next life.

NEXT!!!

My Mom, in here Grant Hat and Glasses, saying: “Grraannnt, whennnn does IT stop!”
