the passing of a Friend
who shared a lot of light,
on the heels of the loss of my dad,
and the impending loss of another…
…juxtaposed
with the reality
that even with all this damn dying,
i continue to be
The Happiest Man Alive.
Tomorrow isn’t Promised.
We know this.
